XFormDBF Help |
Introduction |
XFormDBF is a general-purpose database conversion tool designed for large-scale batch processing jobs. Its primary function is to take an input table and from it to generate, record by record, a transformed output table. The user can define any number of "configurations" for either one-time or recurring conversion jobs, each with its own set of "mappings". These mappings are used to alter field names, sequence, widths, data types, etc. You can also define more complicated derived fields to handle things like code table lookups, translations, and just about any operation that can be expressed in terms of Visual FoxPro UDFs (user-defined functions).
